Okyeame Kwame, a celebrated musician whose creativity is constantly piercing the walls of music, drama, rap, acting and entrepreneurship in Ghana. He is a multi award winning musician whose art transcends all genres, earning him the accolade “Mr. Versatile”.
Okyeame Kwame and other five members were appointed by the Attorney General’s Office to serve as Receiver Managers to conduct the first general elections for Ghana Music Rights Organization (GHAMRO). Okyeame Kwame has also served as the
PRO for the Music Union of Ghana. As a demonstration of his immense talent, Okyeame Kwame is one of two hip-life musicians in Ghana whose poetry and music is studied in universities in Ghana.
In the year 2012, Okyeame Kwame made history as the first artiste in Ghana to stage his own show, The Versatile Show, a fusion of drama, music and dance on one stage culminating into one electrifying experience for patrons.
A graduate of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology and currently an MA student at the University of Ghana, Legon pursuing a Masters Degree in Marketing Strategy.
Okyeame Kwame is the Owner and Creative Director of One Mic Entertainment, a record label. Additionally, owns Firm Bridges Communications, a Communications Company that has provides strategizes, builds commercials, as well as handles both below and above the line communications for its clients.
This enigmatic entertainer is a family man, happily married with two children. In recognition of his strong moral and ethical values, he has been unveiled as the Brand Ambassador for Junior Boys and has been awarded the title “Awesome Father Award” for being a great role model to fathers and young boys.
He is an ardent philanthropist whose foundation, The Okyeame Kwame Foundation, has over the last 7 years embarked on a Free Hepatitis B Screening and Vaccination Exercise that has screened and vaccinated over 6,000 people. In 2016, he organized a concert and spearheaded a fundraising exercise for the Ghana Paralympics Team, to facilitate their participation in the Rio Olympics.
